Nobel Prize-winning Irish playwright Samuel Beckett, is well-known for his stark and often absurd perspective of our human existence. This presentation includes Embers, a staged radio play, where Henry is a man who is lost inside his own head with the relentless sound of the sea.
This is followed by Krapp’s Last Tape where we witness a 69-year-old-man listening to his life as recorded by himself...year after year after year. “An Evening with Beckett“ is thought-provoking theatre that takes the audience on a journey that ultimately goes nowhere...and yet we feel moved.
